Try A Little Steam

You could try leaning over a a basin of hot water and covering your head with a towel, or just turn your shower to hot and sit in your bathroom with the door closed and breathe the steam.

Try A Neti Pot

You fill the neti pot with a warm saltwater solution, then tilt your head sideways and pour the solution into one nostril and let it drain out of the other then repeat this process with the other nostril. Nasal irrigation can be accomplished more simply by using a flexible plastic squeeze bottle to force the saline solution up your nose, one nostril at a time.

Oil Pulling Therapy

Finally, there is a home remedy for sinus headaches called oil pulling therapy. This sinus headache home remedy requires that you do the process first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. It consists of taking one tablespoon of organic coconut, sunflower or sesame oil into your mouth and swishing and swirling it around your mouth and teeth without swallowing it. After you have swished it around for 15 to 20 minutes, you then spit out the solution and rinse. The oil acts as a cleanser, pulling out toxins, bacteria and mucous from your body.
